This was done for AdPro in Beachwood, Ohio

Larry Doby was honored at Jacobs Field in 1997. I don't recall the occassion. His # was retired July 3rd, 1994 so that wasn't it. Aaaaanyway. Anyone attending this game received a 5" x 7" standup photo to commemorate the day.

I started out with an old B&W 8x10 glossy. Scanned it at 300ppi then went to work editing out the people sitting in the dugout and the recognizable faces in the crowd behind the dugout. The original photo ended where the bats touch the ground so I had to create a bit more length. The last steps were to colorize Larry himself. Each color or area is on it's own layer.
