Grand Valley Christian Center
He restores my soul

Our camp, Grand Valley Christian Center, is especially enjoyed by our youth as a place to get away from their urban environment, let down their guard, experience wholesome, fun activities and have quiet time to reflect on their lives and on God. In recent years this resource has been increasingly utilized by all our other ministries. We recently completed a $2.25 million capital campaign which doubled the camp's capacity, increased its recreational and learning facilities, and winterized its buildings for year-round use.

The beautiful Grand Valley Christian Center (GVCC) is located near Rock Creek, Ohio about sixty miles east of Cleveland. GVCC provides a wholesome, challenging and fun Christian camp environment for youth from Pathways programs, the men, women and children in our shelters and recovery programs, and visiting fellowship groups.

Campers can swim, ride horses, have hayrides, cookouts or nature lessons, play basketball, volleyball or softball, go hiking, bicycling, on challenge courses and canoeing! For visitors from Mission programs, it is often their first time in a rural outdoor environment. What a change they experience traveling from the noisy streets of Cleveland to the sounds of bullfrogs in the pond at night and the total darkness of a sky softly lit with stars!

Our dedicated camp staff and volunteers work hard to ensure a fun, safe, quality camping experience as well as spiritual guidance. Many guests gain a whole new perspective on life at camp and make important, life-changing decisions of faith during their stay.

When not in use for Mission programs, the newly renovated 267-acre camp is available year-round as a retreat facility for churches, youth groups and other organizations. Contact us to see what a great time your group can have at Grand Valley Christian Center!
