David had been on the streets for years, consumed by his drug addiction. Tragically, his girlfriend was killed when their daughter was very young but nothing could pull David away from his life on the streets.
David stumbled on The City Mission when someone told him about the no-cost clothing outlet offered by the M ission. He was invited to stay at the shelter that night and heard about the love that Jesus has for him. He gave his life to the Lord and for the first time in his life had hope.
David now has a good job in the food service field and has custody of his daughter. He is active in his church and sings in the choir. David knows that the message of Jesus' salvation saved him and The City Mission gave him a place to build his life in Christ.
