JO President Awarded "Most Knowledgeable" at SHRM

The annual SHRM Conference has come and gone. The JobOptions booth overflowed with activity the entire three days. Our location was well received. Upon entering the conference, you were greeted by our 42" screen showing why JobOptions is the total e-cruitment solution. The part of the booth the attendees liked best - other than our yo-yo's- was our huge graphics display that clearly explained exactly what we do. SHRM was also our first major showcase of the brand new Online Resume Manager and the response was very positive. Attendees definitely left knowing who JobOptions is and what we can do to meet their needs. The substance of our products stood strong against the flashy gimmicks of our competition's booths.

Thanks to HR.com for naming Michael Forrest, president of JobOptions, as the most knowledgeable booth person at the conference. Overall, JobOptions had a great presence and definitely made a strong impression on the attendees. Kudos to everyone for their hard work in making the show a success.

More Workers Get Online...

According to the Xylo Report, August 2001:
Internet Usage in the Workplace, there was a 22% increase in the number of American workers with access to the Internet at work from last year.

Inside Sales – The Latest and Greatest Department at JobOptions.com

The most recent addition to the JobOptions family is the Inside Sales department, located in the Cleveland office. Only existing since March, this department is already off to a great start!

Inside Sales currently consists of two people - Diane Kocal, department manager and former Regional Account Manager for JobOptions, and Erica Vehar, a sales executive working from a virtual office in New York. In the near future, the department plans to add another sales executive to the Cleveland office.

In order for the RAM’s to focus on their primary territories, it was necessary to create a department to increase overall sales and to reach non-covered areas. Diane and Erica are experimenting with different and creative approaches to reach prospects via telephone. “Chris Kilpatrick (vice president of sales) has been very supportive with allowing our department to ‘think outside of the box’ when trying to meet prospects’ needs. I am very pleased with our successes thus far and hope this is only the beginning of a great future for us,” Diane said.

Diane and Erica definitely have something to be proud of - with close to $130K in sales since the department began five months ago, we’re sure this department will continue to bring great success to JobOptions!
