Celebrating 90 years

"I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds." Psalm 77: 11-12 (NIV)

Through all the changes that ninety years can bring, the moves from one location to another, the changes in society and culture, God's purposes have never changed (Hebrews 6: 17). In fact, in this age of "instant everything" and rapid changes, many of us long for something stable to build our lives upon, where we can find rest and hope. That stability is found in God's faithfulness and unchanging nature.

Today, as always, He desires to rescue us from "the fall" of sin and make us more like Him. Out of His great love He gave His Son as the one and only sacrifice that provides for our forgiveness. That is the firm foundation of The City Mission, and it is on that foundation that we minister to the physical and spiritual needs of all those who come through our doors. Join with us in celebrating and proclaiming God's faithfulness to all generations.
