Laura's HomeLaura's Home
- The Legacy

MUESEN, GERMANY. - In 1907 Laura Hein Moll became a widow with six children under the age of 10 when her husband, a Lutheran minister, died unexpectedly. Through the ensuing hardships Laura remained committed to caring for her children by trusting God and seizing opportunities, rather than asking for handouts.

Moll FamilyLaura's son Theo was just two years old when his father died. He went on to become one of the founders of MTD Products, Inc.,
a major producer of lawn care equipment and automotive parts, based in Cleveland. His mother's example of hard work, sacrifice and Christian faith was the foundation of Theo's success and is the legacy of Laura's Home. Theo never forgot God's provision during those early years. In turn, he contributed tremendous amounts of time and money during his lifetime to helping others.

Laura's Home will be a Christian home where women and children will experience the love of Christ and discover what it means to walk with God through faith. It will offer a long-term residential program where women can receive the support and tools they need to make important life changes and work towards a brighter future for themselves and their children.
